I don't want to lose myself loving you!
Vo khete hain na, ghuma mt Dena khud ko yu dhunte hue usko, Anmol tum bhi ho aur Heera(diamond) Bhi Anmol h, bs keemat uski km aur tumhari jyada hai.
{वो केहेते हैं ना, घुमा मत देना खुदको यू ढुंडते हुए उसे, अनमोल तुम भी हो और हीरा भी, बस कीमत उसकी कम और तुम्हारी ज्यादा है। }
I have never thought of a time when I will be using some Hindi lines to explain what self-love is and how difficult it is to practice it daily. It takes a lot of time to cheer yourself up and follow the path of self-love and once you are in it you will realize the happiness it spreads through you. But like with every good thing, there is always a warning. The same is the case here,
Warning to self-love: if you practice it daily a time will come when you will be used to it and replace it easily, unknowingly.
And when I say this I understand that it was not what you think of it. You never wanted to stop loving yourself but at the same time, you also wanted to love others and not lose yourself.
I know it is difficult, trust me I know. I freak out completely maximum time and end up hurting myself. Also, I am an overthinker so you can understand how situations may turn out to be sometimes. Not under control. And then these small stories, reels, short videos on social media, of course, add all sorts of MASALA to our overthinking.
OK, this is what we read or talk about every time, of course. but what we can do about it?
Just simply make your peace your priority. Adjust but only till the time your peace is not scratched by your adjustment. And when you are disturbing your peace, just stop. Quit that moment. Stop pleasing. Answer this! Did your parents just raise you so that you can please somebody for their love? NO. Stop it. Only you are important. Only you.
You were there when you were broken, you are here when you are healing and you will be there when you will be shinning.
So just you are important, JUST YOU.
